Hi Laurel, thanks for joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
Quitting my corporate job and starting my own business, full-time, with my savings was a Big risk!
My story is one of transformation, purpose, and intentional leadership.
For decades, I served as a high-level corporate executive, navigating the complexities of Fortune 100/500 companies, nonprofits, and global organizations.
On paper, it was a successful career—but behind the titles and achievements, I was exhausted, burnt out, and unfulfilled. I realized that success and titles alone weren’t enough; I longed for freedom, meaning, and the ability to live life on my own terms.
That realization became my turning point. I transitioned from the corporate world to embrace my calling as a serial entrepreneur, business owner, and mental health & wellness coach. I wanted to answer God’s calling to care about helping leaders grow and to create greater impact in the world.

Hi, I am Laurel Pendle. I’m the founder and owner of LPBC Services LLC, a female-owned consulting agency located in sunny Arizona. I’m passionate about helping busy business owners, stressed entrepreneurs, and overwhelmed executives get to the root cause of what’s blocking the flow of growth, visibility, and profitability in their organizations.
After many decades serving in high-level leadership positions, I transitioned from the corporate world to embrace my calling as a serial entrepreneur, business owner, and passionate business and executive mental health & wellness coach.

In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, it’s not uncommon to encounter moments when I feel stuck in my life and business journey. Roadblocks are plentiful, but having and maintaining resilience is essential to moving forward. If I am being completely honest, I have had more than my fair share of these trials and challenges both in business and in my personal life.
I try to remember that setbacks are a natural part of being human. I often think about these periods of stagnation as a way for my mind and body to pause, reset, self-reflect, and innovate. I look at challenges as opportunities (I admit that it certainly isn’t easy most days). In fact, these lessons and opportunities can be valuable learning experiences that ultimately lead to greater impact, growth, resilience, stronger faith, and true business success.
By remaining adaptable, intentional, and persistent, I can overcome stagnation and burnout and continue progressing towards my business goals and life vision. I continually train my brain and body through intentional wellness, prayer, and positive mental health strategies. I don’t allow fear to dominate my decisions, and I trust that God has my back to lead me and keep my path straight.
Many years ago, I started noticing CEO’s and business owners asking me for additional help and resources pertaining to “life coaching” mixed with mental health support and business growth. I listened and learned what mattered most to these exhausted and stressed-out leaders. I did months of research and decided to get certified as a Mental Health and Wellness Executive coach to offer better support and transformation for my clients.
I created targeted programs and packages that combine business strategy, leadership, and life coaching educational growth tracks. These sessions provide support and customization sessions tailored to each client and their level of need. This is where Business Consulting, Marketing & Leadership Development Intersect. My goal is to help clients Align their Purpose with Profits.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
There are so many ups and downs as a business owner. No one is without failures and lessons learned.
Over the years I have had to pivot and redirect my business service offerings, packages, and branding. I was intentional to listen to what the market demand was signaling and what my clients needed to support their business goals and personal growth journey. Here are a few of the important lessons I learned along the way.
Top 10 lessons:
1. Start with a targeted business strategy and sales marketing plan before leaping into business.
2. Cultivate a leadership mindset that’s positive and grounded.
3. Educate yourself on your strengths, weaknesses, values, goals and learn where your boundaries are in business and in your personal life. This will serve you well throughout your journey.
4. Startups need a solid foundation and funding to grow effectively.
5. Marketing should be targeted, consistent and aligned with business goals.
6. A strong online presence is vital for visibility and credibility.
7. Technology and AI can enhance business operations but should not replace human interaction.
8. Creating a legacy involves aligning profits with purpose.
9. Business owners should focus on their strengths and outsource weaknesses. You are not an island. Build a community and collaborate.
10. Networking, relationship marketing, and community building are essential for business growth.
Without these important life lessons and skills, even fast-growing companies can crumble because momentum without structure and vision magnifies problems.
