I have carved out 8 important steps that can help you to create transformation (which is lasting, impactful change) in your life.
1- Create a vision and set your intentions of what you want in all areas of your personal and professional life. Really look at what makes you smile and what needs to be over-hauled (think bad habits and things that don’t serve you).
2- Give yourself permission to act and know that YOU are capable of change.
3- Believe in yourself and don’t allow naysayers to interfere! (well-meaning friends, co-workers and family want the best for you- they don’t always know how to show it or support you)
4- Set clear, targeted and measurable goals! (use the S.M.A.R.T. Method- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-based) Let me know if you need help with this method and goal setting strategies in your journey.
5- Without a roadmap in business and in your personal life you wont have a solid foundation on which to build your goals and key objectives.
6- Make your intentions and small shifts a habit. 30/60/90 days creates a rhythm and solidifies your intentions into lasting change.
7- Continue to re-evaluate if things are working and if you need to make tweaks to your goals, method and/or willpower along the way. (keeping a journal or collect data will help you to identify if change and progress is occurring).
8- Don’t forget to celebrate your wins and successes with each milestone. Positive self- talk and self-love really matter!
